Easter, a time of rejoicing right? Have we made Easter look like Easter bunnies and Easter eggs? What do you view Easter as? Do we forget that it is Easter and just do what we want like any other Sunday? Do we remember that we have new life in Christ when He rose from the dead? Do we remember that He loved us so much that He gave His son, Jesus to die for us and save us from our sins that we deserve to die from? Some thoughts you might want to think about.
Why do we cover up these holidays like Christmas and Easter with a bunch of gifts? They're really nice, and I am not against them at all. But do we focus too much on the gifts and not the real purpose of this holiday. You could ask a ton of people randomly in the street and ask: "What's the real purpose of Easter?" What I've found is that people will just say "Oh, Jesus rose from the dead" They treat it like whatever. What I think it means is that becuase of His death our sins are taken away and we are washed clean as snow
